You think that Fergie’s shite, jack? I don’t like to write stuff like that about the players, just the manager!

I will write one thing though, even though I’m repeating myself a bit. Pardew said that Routledge wasn’t good enough for the club, and he was going to replace him with a better player. That player was Obertan. Routledge is now one of the best goalmakers in the Premiership in terms of assists, he has the same amount as Cabaye, Benny, Obertan, Gutierrez, Tiote, Marveaux, Ba and Cisse combined. His new manager, who was one of the best midfielders ever and better than Pardew could ever dream of is purring about his playing. One or two are even starting to suggest that Hodgson takes a look at him if he keeps it up.

I think you may have missunderstood what Jack was attempting to say.
I believe he was refering to the manager Fergie, not the player.
