  1. Supermac, I didn’t delete that comment just to make you look daft BTW.

devon toon, it’s tosh. Started by some gadgie on Twitta, allegedly. WUM.

No-one can find anything on Sky Italia about kit as claimed, and it would have been on UK Sky too. It’s complete cobblers.

  2. Well I’ve just read on the sky app. That he is in talks with gallatassy as they have official met the £7 mil clause.

  3. I doubt he will go to them. If he is in talks this will just set the ball rolling. Football never has been, First Come First Served.

And work, as for “where the f*** have I been?” I’ve been trying to get my business finished. I’ve got a small window before the season starts to get things done. So early nights and not much time left to do much else. I’ve been looking in on the blog though, just didn’t think I had anything valid to say on the topics.and when I did I was to tired to type.

And more so I’ve been ill for the last week. Managed to get out and see the Olympic torch yesterday, was a fantastic day.

You ready for the Olympics work? You got your sofa, air bed and floor space sold yet? I heard its a grand a night for budget hotels during the events.

Galatasary have said no, almighty prophet. Not a big enough name for ’em, apparently.

  5. Stephen, Galatasary Chairman, Ünal Aysal:

“Ba’s name was suggested to us by a committee member and we opened negotiations after approval from (coach) Fatih [Terim].

“However, negotiations have stopped. We already have [Johan] Elmander and have two other strikers.”

“The future of [Milan] Baros is uncertain and if he leaves, we will replace him with a bigger name. Demba Ba is not that striker.”

    Turkish journalist:

“The situation is pretty complex. Galatasaray wanted Ba at first and they spoke to Newcastle United. Now, they’ve changed their mind. I don’t think it’s about wages. There is a real concern that his medical record in the past hasn’t been great.

“There were reports here in Turkey yesterday that the management wanted Demba Ba but Fatih Terim didn’t want him. So, there was this conflict in the management too.

“The club has now decided against signing Ba.”

    Allegedly.

  6. “Supermac, I didn’t delete that comment just to make you look daft BTW” – that’s OK Worky, I achieve that perfectly well on my own.

  7. Anybody got ba twitter account needs to copy and post there comments to him that he aint a big enough name to lead the line for them lmao :)

  8. I thought Turkey was where players on the fade went to spin out their days on a reasonable paypacket. I mean, Milan Baros! I totally forgot all about him.

He’s still been playing in the Euros with the Czech Republic, Tsunki. The MLS in the States, Arabia, China, Russia and a few other countries in the CIS seem to be the new semi retirement homes for gadgies like Anelka, Drogba, Beckham, Robbie Keane and so on. Most of them pay “obscene” rather than “reasonable.”

  10. Well just because cisse came in half way though the season n scores goals and he could he has to run away and leave because the spot light ant on him well best of luck to him if he like that a team can have him

  11. i watched a documentary a while back which stated Chinese football and retirement homes are pretty much the source of most of the match fixing.

old men wanting to make a decent buck before they retire.

unfortunately Beckham was lumbered with Posh.
