Newcastle United manager, Alan Pardew agrees with the interview that Newcastle United were “robbed” by Asamoah Gyan’s last gasp equaliser, and that Newcastle “switched off” for the goal.

Steve Bruce rightly acknowledges Newcastle’s superior experience, but says that he wants Sunderland to finish above Newcastle. Howay man ye daft get!

Mackem’s goalscorer, Asamoah Gyan, acknowledges that his last minute goal was “a bit lucky”.

    Tom, don’t want to increase your sense of injustice, but Gyan’s just admitted that his goal was a handball too. See the video.
