Newcastle United Change Kit 2011-2012

I don’t think this comes as a surprise as we all heard the rumours of it being orange and leave it to the ingenuity of Puma to use the exact same design for the change and third kit as well as the majority of the teams they have ever provided football kits for.
I’d imagine the shorts and socks will follow the same style as the home and third kit albeit in a delightful orange colour.
Overall I won’t say it’s that bad. It doesn’t look half as offensive as I initially thought it would have been although I probably wouldn’t like to be enjoying a nice picnic with my girlfriend in Leazes park while wearing this. I’m almost positive I’ll be pollinated by an evil horde of killer Geordie bees. (Unfortunately the council don’t believe me when I complain about them.)
The official announcement can’t be too far off as this photo was allegedly taken in Chester Le Street at no other than Sports Direct which seems like a bit of a blunder on Mike Ashley’s Durham store and no doubt somebody with the misfortune to work there will probably lose all working privileges that come with working at Sports Direct. I don’t know what they might be but if somebody can confirm I will be appreciative. (more…)
