  1. Steve Kean spoke so much rubbish in the interview its unreal. He gave NUFC no credit what so ever. We p1ssed all over them. He failed to mention they had 1 SHOT on goal all game. The man is simply an idiot.

“Steve Kean spoke so much rubbish in the interview its unreal.”

What about Pardew praising the big investment from the board in his interview Toon?

  4. You see it every season where some poor unfortunate, who’s way out of his depth as a coach or manager, seeks to explain his way out of what everyone else knows is his lack of ability.

Roeder could be one of those ? I’ll research some others :)

“Roeder could be one of those ?”

Leave wor Glen alone Andy. He came seventh then had a bugger of an injury crisis.

  6. Andy I assume you are talking about Pardew, yes ?

    Workey
Yeah that was the first thing that came to my attention, the large investment made by the board ?
Think it would be better if he just kept his mouth shut, instead of talking shit all the time !
Whats wrong with this guy ?

You’re gannin’ to get lynched Chuck!

If things keep going the way they are, fans are going to be discussing who’s better; Guardiola, Mourinho or Pardew.

Best to withdraw to the bunker with our tin hats for the moment.

  8. Sorry chuck and WT but I only listened to Kean’s interview as Pardwho rates a big fat zero on my giveashitometer ! The man’s an idiot but maybe, at last, a lucky idiot ?

  9. Hey! i would take Glen Roeder anytime in place of the guy we are presently stuck with, at least he could string a logical sentence together, instead of constant psycho-babble.

    “Hey! C’mon. Workey !
You know that’s not my style, call em as i see em !”

Aye Statler, I knaa. Me too unfortunately.

  11. Unfortunately, we did’nt get the game here, watched the Arsenal and Man U. games, got the Lierpool game on now, overkill.
Wondered how did the young Canadian kid Jr.Hoilett do, saw him play last week, looked really good, knows where the net is.
Kids in the final year of his contract and should be in demand, maybe we could put in a bid around Christmas, get him cheap (that should appeal to the big guy).
By the way, Man. U. were lucky to-day, outplayed by a tough Stoke side, who’s fans gotta be the loudest in the league.
A tough place for any visiting side!
Not looking forward to going there !

  12. And yet again, the to55ers at the BBC push us right down the playlist on MOTD – ffs, if we were top they would still want to show a ‘battling 0-0’ between WBA and chuffin Swansea before giving us any time !!

  13. just watched MOTD.
really impressed with what little I saw.
Ba was a revealation, won me over.
Best should have got one, but looked good from what I saw. I presume now we will continue with 4-4-2 with Ba & Best – well, it appears to be working so I can’t argue with success. This formation should see off wolves next week no bother.

still 4th ! unbeaten. no complaints about anything!
I’ll just sit contentedly, finish my Glen Morangie, and go to bed happy.

  14. Clint @18:

they weren’t the only ones tipping us for relegation. They asked 7 “journalists” on Football365, a Sky site, and 3 said we would go down.

They were Pete Gill, Nick Miller and John Nicholson.

The Football365 site is generally quite entertaining but I couldn’t believe they had us below Blackburn, Wigan, Swansea, Norwich, Bolton, Sunderland, LIVERPOOL etc.

“Wondered how did the young Canadian kid Jr.Hoilett do”

He scored a very decent goal, and was probably their best player Chuck, though that isn’t necessarily saying a great deal on today’s performance.

  16. was just thinking what happened to the top section of the leazes end no wonder attendances have dropped sports direct banner and all vacant seats! ashley is shooting himself in to foot losing money with vacant seats and tying so hard with all his sports direct signs which in all honesty wont pull his business through

“was just thinking what happened to the top section of the leazes end”

Do you mean the breaking up of the Ash bashing fans who frequented the “singing” section by expanding the family area nufc?

  18. i can’t believe there’s still people slaging pardew off. were unbeaten so far, and he’s showed he knows how to tactically win match’s, as well as his great man management skills.

i wonder will you still be slaging pardew off if he win something? my guess is yes, so i’d recommend yous go support man u yous pricks. fergie loves avoiding interveiws so you can’t say he talks to much shit, and while your at it, GET A LIFE

  19. bit harsh on pardew, hes brought in alot of flair and the type of football we’re starting to play looks class, with jonas, marveux, ben arfa, cabaye, best and ba we have lots of attacking options. lets forget about the striker, pardew would have been as pissed as the rest of us. Also the fact we were willing to pay 10-13 million for cisse and luiz shows that he was backed by the board. nothing could be done about enrique or barton, he’s got in quality replacements and added to the squad so there has been good investment in the squad. Just because we didnt spend millions doesnt mean it wasnt good investment. The fact that we’re unbeaten and 4th should tell you the investment was good. And it frankly flabergasts me that some of you are whining when you should be celebrating and sporting nasty hangovers!

  20. workyticket
ah thanks for solving that problem, just looks terrible having a huge banner covering all those seats then again same can be said about the sports direct signage sandwiching the cheaper looking of ‘Newcastle united’

  21. Very harsh on Pardew I was not too happy when we got him, but now we have him get behind him, he has changed the way we play and to be honest this is the best weve played in a long time, the strength in depth is pretty good, the wing play is back we look like a TEAM.
Im all behind Pardew if we win a cup ill bear him a child lol.

    “workyticket
ah thanks for solving that problem,”

    nufc337, Hang on a minute! I divven’t knaa if I have! :-)

The big Sports Direct banners you were referring to yesterday could have been over the seats where Blackburn supporters should have been, as the away supporters are plonked up there in that area too. The stuff I mentioned above is still true though.

yeah expect shlte from the Fatman anyday now :) He’ll probably apply for membership to the J League or Chinese Super League so we can sell more shirts :)

For those precious types who think that criticising Pardwho is “not fair” (searches for girly boo hoo type emoticon) lets get serious for a minute and analyse his performances since he arrived at SJP

    Played 28 Won 9 Drawn 12 Lost 7 Win Ratio 32.1%

and that dont include Stevenage !!!!!!

So yeah he’s possibly getting there but 30% win ratio puts you in the same league as Dalglish and just in front of Souness (the original Clueless One).

  24. %win ratios for all BPL NUFC Managers
    Keegan 08/93 01/97 54.5
    Robson 09/99 08/04 44.1
    Roeder 02/06 05/07 40.4
    Dalglish01/97 08/98 33.9
    Allardyce 05/07 01/08 33.3
    PARDWHO 32.1%
    Hughton 08/10 12/10 31.3
    Gullit 08/98 08/99 27.5
    Souness 09/04 02/06 28.6
    Keegan 01/08 09/08 26.3
    Kinnear 09/08 02/09 25.0

  25. Shearer 04/09 05/09 P8 W1 D2 L5
so the win ratio is not recorded on the stats Super.

    Actually its 12.5% :(

“%win ratios for all BPL NUFC Managers”

Andy, what’s the “BPL” when it’s at home? And where did you get those stats from? Did you calculate them yourself or did you find them somehwere else? Because they are slightly different from the respective manager’s usual win% stats.

  27. Stop moaning and get behind the team. Newcastle United have the best supporters in the world that is a fact! PROVE IT!!

BPL = Barclays Premier League so the list is just from the days of the Premier League. Stats courtesy of Nufc.com
