Highlights from todays Chelsea v Newcastle United game at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea vs Newcastle United full match video, extended highlghts and interviews.

A disappointing and rather predictable first half performance from Newcastle United which saw us two goals down by the interval after a 22nd minute penalty by Hazard when Torres was brought down by Anita on the 22nd minute, and Torres himself scored on the stroke of half time. Although we had a better performance in the second, it was too little too late and Chelsea maintained their two goal advantage.

  1. Chelsea and Torres cheat and we lose!!!

Walked back from the bar by a pet shop and bought two canaries. One is a bit miserable so I was thinking about calling him Chuck. The other one is a female and I have no idea what to call her ‘coz there are never any females on here to name her after.

Ashley would only bid £1.5 million for Fellaini, Chris. Then, when Everton turn it down, he’d send out Alan Pardew to tell the media that Everton need to “get real” about transfers.

  5. Guys we shouldn’t beat ourselves up about this – that was an awesome Chelsea performance against a fatigued Newcastle. We don’t have to revamp our whole squad because of it!

Qwerty, I don’t think anyone is suggesting that the first team squad is the problem, just a lack of reinforcements in some areas, and a strategy which isn’t utilising the huge talent already at our disposal to it’s maximum effect.

October 2010 is the last time Newcastle United came from behind to win a PL match – a 2-1 victory at West Ham.

Toonforlife, Tom Daley will never be as good at diving as Torres and Drogba.
