  3. most players would of rolled all over after that brush of heads! great player tiote bit of pace and creativity on the wings and a stiker like vela (loan) to play with carroll i think we’ll do well this season

  4. Not clinical enough in front of goal again.
    CB’s backing off & allowing shots on goal.
    Unlucky deflection took it past Krul for the first.
    Soft, allowed to go through a forest of legs for the second.
    Probably what was expected away to spuds this term.
    Tiote’s challenge was fair, kaboul’s wasn’t.

    So we’ve gotten beat by manc(top of the league) & spuds riding high, hardly unexpected nor the end of the world.
    Usual recrimiations & pet hates out.
    What a surprise!

    we still lack guile imo,and harping back to taylor some say hes a great c/b to me he is ave even y/day kept playing ball back to krul he played it to his right-side,the guys left-footed,just basics but v.poor imo

  8. Well, well, during both interview this “neutral” BBC commentator tried his very best to blame Tiote for Kabouls head butt. Good to see that neither of the managers allowed this garbage to be discussed.

  12. CLINT aye m8 getting there,my worry is we try to a play a defensive game to try and get over this slump when we are getting basic defending wrong at the mo,hope pardew can show us what he has in “his”locker

  14. Clint, agreed mate. To be honest Tiote’s tackle on Kaboul was top-drawer (especially when you consider he was on a yellow). Kaboul’s sending off for the head butt was merited, but Tiote was SO LUCKY not to go with him. The lad needs to lighten up a bit, though he’s probably a bit frustrated at the lack of quality present in quite a few of his teammates
