  1. I am trying to figure out what team Pardew will play.

He’ll probably start Cabaye in place of Anita. Cabaye will probably go all out to catch Wenger’s eye.

Remy will probably start on the bench although Pardew is almost impossible to predict. He kept Ben Arfa on the bench for a month after injury but then after the next injury he started him on a plastic pitch.

    He’ll probably start Shola.

Who knows, there could be a miracle and we sign somebody.

  2. Nah, he’s pretty sure Cabaye will be gone by then. He pretty much asked Arsenal to put in another bid.

He’ll definitely start Shola-and I can’t see why not. If he’s starting a second forward though, I have to say I’d probably go with Gouffran at this point.

  3. I have a 3 point plan:

    1. Fire Pardew

    2. Bring back Ba

    3. Let Chuck coach the team, of course with Mondays and Wednesdays off so he can collect some mussels at Budle Bay.

  4. If we hold onto Cabaye it will be like getting a new player over the line. A depressed player, who may or may not have gone on strike, and who doesn’t want to be here. Actually, it sounds ideal for Pardew’s NUFC.

  5. @4: sort of describes Ben Arfa as well because he went on strike at Marseilles, was sulky and spent all of his time in France when he was injured.

  6. Ba’s agent has said he won’t be back here, which doesn’t surprise me. He’ll go somewhere though-Mourinho didn’t even name him in the squad v CFC and now they’re getting Eto’o-so it’ll probably be a real kick in the nuts when he goes to one of our theoretical rivals.
